With each passing day there has been an increasing number of incidents dealing with rape of women. Whether it is the disrespect towards law or the increase of perversion but even the capital city of Delhi stands first in the number of average rapes per day.
The business of cinema is a rather different and complex ball game. Yes, it is all about selling entertainment and dreams to the common man but to provide that two hours of entertainment, there are many dreams and lives that get sacrificed by us. I personally feel that amongst all the roles, my job is the toughest in cinema circuit. Because, if we are not there then there is no scope for making a film but since my league is quite small, the challenges are many.
We live in the world’s biggest democracy so voting and elections stand the biggest benchmark in our lifestyle. Of course, the blatant truth remains that out of the entire polling percentage, only 20% to 25% are genuine voters and the rest are either fed with money or liquor or any other gifts from the politicians. Okay while that is one side of the coin, a new side of the coin is emerging. The voters are no longer the same bunch with herd mentality, their intellect has developed.
The virtual world has provided solace to many who fall short of life’s expectations. In a way, it has become an avenue for many to satisfy their thirst for knowledge, education and many other productive things. While that is the good side, there is also some negative baggage.
A very interesting and debatable aspect of the film industry is that there are many who say having talent alone doesn’t work there. One should have a godfather or the blessings of a big person. Only then one can actually make a career. While that may be true to an extent, it may not be the complete truth.
